In this century it is not easy to get
pregnant naturally since a lot of women face problems from a very early age
like polycystic ovary or more complex problems like fibroids which make it
difficult to conceive. Numerous reasons are responsible for the infertility of a woman among which the physical problems
and improper balance of hormone as well as dietary irregularities are some of
the prime causes. Though medical science has various treatments to counter this
situation, there are also some natural remedies that can prove much helpful. Infertility is a rising problem with one out
every five women being infertile and unable to conceive a child. Now, it is
difficult but not impossible to reverse fertility,
and there are some strict don’ts if you are willing to be a mother. In this
highly polluted environment that we live in, there are some precautions that
you must abide by for a safe, natural pregnancy.
The Don’ts:
Smoking: Consuming tobacco in the form of
cigarettes can cause profound damages to your reproductive system. It causes an
imbalance of the hormones in your body and can also damage the fetus if you
smoke incessantly during pregnancy. So it best advised to not smoke at all when
you want to conceive a child or during pregnancy because it can also lead to
unwanted miscarriages.
Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol can equally
cause an imbalance in the body. When you are pregnant or when you plan to
conceive a child, you must make sure that you follow a proper diet which is
rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, and
minerals. Consuming alcohol can tamper with the bloodstream
which is linked directly to the fetus. The high
amount of alcohol in the blood system can affect your fertility as well.
Drugs: Drugs like marijuana and cocaine can
affect pregnancy since it directly affects the fertility of a woman and in case
you are already pregnant the toxins can stop the baby from reducing the supply
of oxygen to the fetus. The same is in case of recreational drugs like marijuana, but studies are still inconclusive.
The carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide in the bloodstreamreduce
the supply of oxygen and can also cause miscarriage or permanent damage to the
fetus.
Hazardous
Chemicals: Fertility
is affected by the surrounding you live in and the lifestyle you maintain. You
surrounding needs to be healthy, and you
have to avoid being exposed to harmful
chemicals. Examples of such substances are household chemicals, plastic water
bottles, and cosmetic and beauty products,
etc. You must also keep in mind that you are not subjected to the severe
environmental pollution or to passive
smoking.
No
caffeine: Caffeine
is a stimulant and also a diuretic, and
it increases the blood pressure and heart rate. Caffeine can easily cross the
placenta which is not good for an embryo or a fetus. An intake of large amounts of caffeine in the form of coffee can
often lead to miscarriages. So it is a strict no if you are trying to get pregnant naturally.
