One of the most happening cities in the country which is well known all over the world is Bangalore. It is the house for the most beautiful gardens, busy streets, many software companies, best eateries and interesting architecture. The city has something to offer for all the people who come here. If you are visiting the city, there are many places that you must see.

Bangalore is an interesting city which cannot be seen in one day. To discover the entire city, you will need more than a year. But, if you are short of time and are in hourly hotels in Bangalore, then here is an ideal one day tour plan for you –

Morning walk –

People of Bangalore start their day with a walk in one of the lush green gardens in the city. The garden city is known for its parks and greenery. There are many great parks like the Lalbhag and the Cubbon Park. You can walk, run or jog around, take pictures, feed the pigeons and just soak in the early morning sun.

Breakfast –

Like other south Indian cities, Bangalore also serves special and authentic breakfast. There are idlis, vada, masala dosa, poliyogare, bisibelebath, pongal and other breakfasts that will make you hungry and ready for second helpings. For breakfast, you must visit the famous MTR, VidhyartiBhavan, Maiyyas, veena stores or CTR. They are the best breakfast centers in the city. Don’t forget to grab a hot cup of filter coffee after the breakfast. It is almost mandatory.

Monuments –

After the breakfast, just stroll around the VidhanaSoudha area. The VidhanaSoudha is the parliamentary building of the state. It is a beautiful marble structure which will definitely blow your mind. You can also visit the high court building, vishveshwaraya museum and the planetarium which are all in close proximity.

Lunch -

By the time you visit all these places, it will already be lunch time. The city has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants that are equally good. You can pick your choice. For vegetarians there is MTR, Rajadhani, Samaroh, London curry house and other places. For all those meat eaters, you can head straight to the Nagarjuna, meghana foods, Shivaji military hotel or the Bheema’s.

Lakes –

After the heavy lunch, you may not feel like walking any more. So, head towards one of the many lakes in the city to do some boating and bird watching. There are many lakes like the Sankeytank, Lumbini garden or the Ulsoor Lake. Some of the lakes even have boating facility. Enjoy the slight breeze and the cool water until its sunset time.

Shopping –

In the evening, head towards the most luxurious malls in the city and shop to your heart’s content. There are many malls like Mantri square, Orion mall, Garuda mall, Form mall and the VR mall.
Dinner –

There are many fine dining places for people who enjoy a silent dinner. But if you are a party animal, head towards one of the pubs on MG road or Indira Nagar. Dance, drink, eat and have fun.
